About Us

The Association for Education, Culture and Tourism “DEVAM” is an organisation focused on education and training of young people and institutional staff in diverse professional fields. We established a specialized International Training Center, based in Istanbul, Turkey. The DEVAM Center has an expert team with many years of experience in organizing, planning and conducting short-term and long-term training courses for school and university educational staff. In addition, we initiate the implementation of workshops, exchanges and activities beneficial for the development of young people`s skills and knowledge. DEVAM consists of 35 associates from six countries and offers a wide range of courses in different locations across Europe. We strive to provide high quality services and high contribution to the educational process of young people and adult learners. Our main objectives include:

• Initiating and supporting socio-culturally beneficial activities associated with the creation, diversifying and developing professional services in the sphere of education, culture and tourism.

• Providing a wide range of educational services for youth and adults with non-formal educational methods within the framework of the national strategies and programs of the Republic of Türkiye and the targets of the “Erasmus+” programme.

• Determining problems, preparing analyzes and creating strategic solutions to combine the efforts of all stakeholders regarding education and tourism for increasing competitiveness and achieving high results.

• Developing human resources through training activities and trainings/courses, seminars etc., increasing the qualifications and re-qualifications of the personnel employed in the education and tourism sector.

• Carrying out analysis, starting and supporting public interest activities associated with formulating strategic precautions, decreasing youth unemployment, promoting youth entrepreneurship, promoting tolerance and mutual understanding.

• Developing a contemporary database for the dissemination of up-to-date information and information in the fields of education, culture and tourism, youth activities related initiatives.

• Cooperating with local and international organizations, private specialized clusters, institutes, higher education institutions, vocational schools and centers for qualification (merit) and retraining for joint work on projects and programmes for financing and investments in the field of education and tourism-related activities.
